A sweet man with his son (and a puppy) were hired and they did a fantastic job laying the carpeting. We can finally start putting some furniture in this place (when we have some to put in).

Oh! I'm definitely going to look up all your posts regarding this project, since we hope to do something very similar and VERY soon. One of our soon-to-be newlywed daughters and her own hubby will occupy it for awhile, then it will be great guest quarters for visiting kids and their future spouses and families.

Wow Carolyn, that is looking great! I can't wait to see the whole thing all finished and decorated.
